Guacamole Recipe Easy
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe avocados, halved and pitted
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup chopped jalapeño pepper, seeded and veins removed (optional)
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mash the avocados with a fork until smooth.
- Add the onion, cilantro, jalapeño pepper (if using), lime juice, salt, and black pepper.
- Stir until well combined.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips, vegetables, or as a topping for tacos or burritos.
Tips:
* For a creamier guacamole, use a food processor or blender to puree the ingredients. * To make ahead of time, prepare the guacamole as directed and then store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. * To prevent the guacamole from turning brown, wrap the surface tightly with plastic wrap or press a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole.
