Scotlands Rugby Team Produced A Remarkable Comeback

Scotland Defeat France in Rugby Thriller

Scotland's rugby team produced a remarkable comeback

The team came from 18 points behind to defeat France 36-38

Scotland came from 18 points behind to beat France 36-38 in a thrilling rugby match at Murrayfield on Saturday. The victory was Scotland's first over France since 2014 and their first at home since 1999.

Scotland were 18-0 down after 20 minutes, but they fought back to trail by just 22-19 at half-time. They continued to dominate the game in the second half and eventually took the lead with 10 minutes remaining.

France fought back to within a point, but Scotland held on for a famous victory. It was a great day for Scottish rugby and a fitting tribute to the late Doddie Weir, who died of motor neurone disease last year.

Scotland's victory was all the more remarkable given that they played the majority of the match with 14 men. Flanker Jamie Ritchie was sent off in the 20th minute for a dangerous tackle.

Scotland's forwards were outstanding, with captain Jamie Ritchie leading the way. The backs also played their part, with Blair Kinghorn scoring two tries and Finn Russell kicking 16 points.

The victory was a huge boost for Scotland ahead of the Six Nations, which starts next month. They will now be confident of challenging for the title.
